Keith Priest Founding Partner
Keith is a founding partner of Fletcher Priest Architects LLP.
Outside of the studio he is a former President of the Architectural Association and its famous AA School of Architecture and is currently a member of the BCO’s Urban Group.
He was Design Director at Wolff Olins prior to Fletcher Priest.
He trained at the AA School.
Michael Fletcher Founding Partner
Michael co-founded the practice with Keith after working together at Wolff Olins, a background which still influences the work today, bringing a broad understanding of the needs of the users and the social, cultural and practical work environments.
He has specific experience of workplace design for some of London’s most creative businesses. Major projects include research labs for IBM, Award winning interiors at Powergen’s HQ in Coventry and Vodafone’s headquarter campus at Newbury which brought together the masterplanning, architecture and interior skills of the practice.
His work has included sensitive changes to the listed Economist Building and the 18C warehouses at Devonshire Square. He spent 6 years on RIBA Council, and was vice president of the Clients Advisory Service.
Ed Williams Partner
Ed joined in 1995 and now runs one of the largest architectural studios. He has worked on many award winning designs particularly in the arts and office sectors. His team have been involved in a wide range of projects ranging from Hackney Picture House to Nomura’s HQ in the City. Recently completed, high profile buildings in London include: Finsbury Circus House, 6 Bevis Marks and Carmelite Riverside. Currently underway are a variety of projects including 200 flats in Shoreditch and an office tower next to the Bank of England. Ed has a strong interest in pragmatic sustainable architecture recently achieving planning for extremely low energy use naturally ventilated production offices at Pinewood Studios. He also has a passion for playing football, painting and sketching and has exhibited his work in several shows.
Emily Rae Partner
Emily joined Fletcher Priest Architects in 2007 and is the finance partner, managing the financial and operational side of the practice. She studied Classics at Cambridge University before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young. Emily had extensive experience of working in creative industries including advertising and PR before joining the Practice and is currently the Chairman of the AFMG (Architects Financial Management Group).
Francesca Gernone Interiors Partner
Francesca is Head of Interiors. She joined Fletcher Priest Architects in 2014 having previously worked for Pringle Brandon, Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects, Branson Coates Architecture and Zaha Hadid Ltd.
Francesca gained a degree in Architecture from South Bank University in 1996 and subsequently completed a Masters at Royal College of Art in 1999. Francesca has extensive experience in fit out projects and worked with high profile clients including Google, Unilever, American Express, Barclays and Unicredit.
Gerry Whale Partner
Gerry is a founding member of the firm and has been involved in most of the practice's work since its inception. Gerry studied architecture at the Architectural Association, London, where he and Keith were prize winners for the masterplan of Roosevelt Island, New York, competition.
Gerry is responsible for the production of 2D computer visualisations and effective communication of the design to the client. His exceptionally talented work has been extensively exhibited and published.
Jonathan Kendall Partner
Jonathan is Partner and Director of Urban Design and has worked on a number of high profile, large scale urban projects from initial concept stages through to the successful achievement of planning permissions, including more than a decade leading our work on Stratford City and the 2012 Olympic Village. Having won the international design competition for the new urban centre of Riga, Jonathan established and continues to lead a studio for the practice based in Latvia and has led numerous projects internationally. Jonathan has taught at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, for the past fifteen years and has spoken at lectures and conferences around the world.
Pero Maticevic Partner
Pero studied Architecture and Structural Engineering at Belgrade University. He has been with the practice since 1993. As a Partner he was responsible or involved in the design development of many practices projects including First Street Manchester, 1 New Ludgate, Watling Court, One Wood Street, Nomura Angel Lane, Bank of China, Oxford Properties Tower and many more.
Pero is also responsible for practice’s IT strategy and digital communication.
The practice designs have won numerous industry and professional awards. In addition Pero is an awarded boat designer, sculptor and computer illustrator.
Stephen Barton Partner
Stephen is a Partner, having joined Fletcher Priest from the Terry Farrell Partnership in 1990. He has over 30 years’ experience working in London having previously studied and worked in Dublin and New York. Stephen has been responsible for many award winning commercial and industrial projects working with blue chip clients. He is an acknowledged Design Team Leader with considerable experience of the feasibility and implementation stages of major new build and refurbishment projects in London and abroad. He has a detailed understanding of practical constructional issues and has the skills to motivate others to achieve the project’s objectives.
Tim Fyles Partner
Tim joined Fletcher Priest in 1988 following a period at Pentagram Design and is a Partner with extensive experience in office and workplace design. He is a member of the British Council for Offices and has contributed to their best Practice Guides.
Tim graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa with a Bachelor of Architect (Distinction) and his studies included a term at the Architectural Association.
Marco Montariello Senior Associate
Marco has worked on and lead commercial and residential projects of all scales in the UK and Europe. Educated in Italy and Germany, he completed his Masters with first class honours from the University of Architecture Federico II with a dissertation prepared at the RWTH Aachen, Lehrstuhl für Stadtbereichsplanung, lead by Volkwin Marg. He joined FPA in 2000. Marco was the Lead Executive Architect for Renzo Piano's first major building in London, Central Saint Giles. His high profile clients include Legal & General, Mitsubishi and Land Securities. Marco is fluent in English, German and Italian, which allowed him to raise his international profile. He has spoken at lectures at The Politecnico di Milano and at the Design Museum in London.
Sam Craig Senior Associate
Sam is a Senior Associate who joined the practice in 2006 to help realise Watermark Place. Since then he has led high profile large scale projects of various types through all work stages, notably including One Angel Lane, Bevis Marks and Devonshire Square. He has been involved in projects that have achieved architectural awards every year both prior to and since arriving at FPA. Currently he is working on both commercial and residential new build and refurbishments.
Antonia Infanger Senior Associate
Antonia is a qualified architect and interior architect with a strong design sense, who after a masters of Art at the Royal College of Art 1995/96 joined Fletcher Priest Architects in 1999. She has experience in commercial, residential and cultural buildings from concept through to completion, on a diverse range of projects as the design leader. Antonia has built up an impressive portfolio of projects in Switzerland, Germany and UK from Hotel Atoll on Helgoland to Sony PlayStation European HQ and Middlesbrough Art gallery. She has also worked with Alison Brooks Architects, Erick Van Egeraat Associated Architects and Marks Barfield Architects.
Antonia is currently running a 9000m2 office fitout project in Zurich for a large media tech company.
Joseph Sweeney Associate
Joe is an Associate at Fletcher Priest Architects. He joined the practice in 2010. In that time, he has worked on a number of prestigious projects from concept through to completion. Current projects include Derwent Londons The North Wharf Building and Carmelite Riverside.
Prior to joining Fletcher Priest Architects, Joe worked on numerous high profile office, residential and hotel projects in London.
Matias Musacchio Associate
Matias became an Associate in 2013 and is a fully licensed Architect in the UK and Argentina, his home country. After finalising his studies, he worked shortly in Argentina and then moved to New York City to work for Peter Eisenman. London followed, where he worked for Zaha Hadid and David Adjaye before joining the practice in 2005.
His strong design background, with a focus on interiors, has involved him with high profile projects in the office. Matias recently finished a 450sq m luxury flat in Mayfair and is currently working on the New Library and Academic Centre for St Anne’s College in Oxford, Masterplan second phase after finishing the new Kitchen and Dining Room refurbishment.
Nicholas Worley Associate
Since joining Fletcher Priest in 2011 Nicholas has successfully led the development of a 200-unit residential scheme in North London, has fronted the development of feasibility studies for commercial, residential, retail and leisure typologies, and is currently leading a team on a £130million commercial redevelopment scheme in the City of London.
Prior to this Nicholas was Project Architect on a number of commercial, sport and leisure and residential schemes at practices in New York and North East England. Nicholas is actively engaged in Design Research and appreciably contributes to the practice’s involvement in ideas competitions.
Stina Hokby Associate
After completing her masters in Urban Design at the Bartlett, UCL, in 2004 Stina joined Fletcher Priest to work on the practice’s urban design projects and was made an Associate in 2012. She has worked on a number of high profile, large scale urban projects from initial concept stages through to the successful achievement of planning permissions, including the masterplan for Stratford City/2012 Athletes Village and more recently the masterplan for Woodberry Down in East London and Silvertown Quays in the Royal Docks. Stina has taught at both Bartlett School of Architecture and KTH in Stockholm.
Mareike Langkitsch Associate
Mareike joined Fletcher Priest in 2007. She has a diverse range of experience working on numerous projects in the office, mixed use, residential and cultural sectors. She has contributed to a broad range of projects, including two large office and retail schemes in the City of London and led a number of prestigious projects including Hackney Picturehouse and Pinewood Studios. Before joining Fletcher Priest she has gained experience in design and construction at all scales whilst studying and working in Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia. Currently she is working on both commercial and residential new build and refurbishments in Shoreditch.
Tom Salmons Associate
Tom joined the practice in 2011. He has extensive residential experience on a large number of projects at a range of scales and tenures, working at all stages from concept design through to implementation on site.
Since joining Tom has worked on a 200 unit residential scheme in North London, a 170 unit residential scheme in East London and led and completed the £130m development of New Ludgate, a commercial and retail development in the City of London. He is currently leading a team on a redevelopment of a large, complex mixed use scheme in Knightsbridge.
Dewi Jones Associate
Dewi joined Fletcher Priest in 2011. He spent the first six years of his career in New York, Sydney and Melbourne working on a selection of projects including private houses and a major transport rail hub. Since returning to London in 2006, Dewi worked for Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners gaining invaluable experience on the Wood Wharf masterplan and the British Museum World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre. To date at Fletcher Priest, Dewi has successfully delivered the One New Ludgate development and is currently leading Buckingham Green, a mixed use development in Westminster.
Jonathan Hodge Associate
Jonathan joined the practice in 2006 to take Dashwood House, a large scale mixed use building in the heart of the City of London, through from feasibility to completion. He has since worked on a range of large commercial office and residential developments as well as smaller cultural projects. High profile projects include Central Saint Giles, Ludgate Hill, Carmelite Riverside, 6 Bevis Marks and the Mall Galleries. Currently he is leading a complex commercial mixed use refurbishment of the Grade 2 Listed Building, Dixon House.
Prior to joining Fletcher Priest Architects, Jonathan worked for a number of years for a practice that specialised in Environmental and Sustainable Design.
Anne Schroeder Associate
Anne joined Fletcher Priest in 2006. She has since contributed to a broad range of high profile projects in the office such as North Wharf Road, 6 Bevis Marks and the 2012 Athlete's Village. Anne's studies at the RWTH Aachen in Germany have given her a strong technical background. In between academic studies she lived and worked in Hamburg, Melbourne and Shanghai. Having previously led a mixed use residential scheme on Oxford Street she currently fulfils a senior role on Angel Court, a commercial scheme in the City of London.
Luke Ritson Associate
Luke joined Fletcher Priest in 2013, having spent the first part of his career developing his expertise in the Sports and Leisure sector, working on aspirational projects for high profile clients such as the Queen’s Club, the University of Oxford, the Government of Malta and Latymer Upper School.
Luke has a proven background in assessing and delivering buildings on complex, historically sensitive sites and has led several projects whilst at Fletcher Priest, including 20 Finsbury Circus, Dixon House and 55 Gresham Street. Most recently, Luke has developed the Practice’s relationship with Transport for London and has led schemes at Vallance Road, Northwood and Vauxhall Cross.
