We are in the early stages of a masterplan for an 80 hectare site in St Petersburg, Russia. The historic centre of the city is identified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and our site includes a number of buildings that are protected because of their significant architectural quality.
Our masterplan establishes a new landscape with public realm and private amenity, introduces a range of land uses and explores ways of bringing the historic structures into productive modern use. The strategy allows implementation in viable phases and responds to the extremes of climate with a series of environmental design measures.
