Our masterplan for a waterside resort on the Baltic Sea coast north east of Riga provides a range of residential summer homes together with hotel, leisure and social amenities for beach recreation, extending the existing town and establishing fingers of built form that extend the protected forest ecology immediately adjacent to the site. Robust housing types cope with extreme variations in climate through the year, allowing for warm weather use and protection during winter. The project, for a local developer, has been adopted for planning, and will be built incrementally in response to market demand.
