This project has enlivened the ground floor areas of the building originally built in 1793 as warehouses for the East India Company. New routes have been created to provide access throughout the complex for all users and a courtyard covered with a simple and elegantly structured ptfe pillow roof making it usable as a social and events space year round.
Unpromising spaces have been turned into an attractive and desirable urban environment which makes a valuable contribution to the enjoyment, comfort and pleasure of its users.
