Collaborative Practice: dialogues between Architecture and Engineering

On Wednesday 10 May Jonathan Kendall will be speaking at Collaborative Practice: dialogues between Architecture and Engineering, hosted by Loughborough University as part of their new architecture programme.

The seminar is organised around a handful of short talks from industry experts who operate in dialogue with architects and can offer insightful links between what the school currently does and its growth of architecture and urban design.

Jonathan will be speaking to attendees on his experiences of working collaboratively between disciplines and across scales in practice. He will provide expertise in how to shape a vision and how that vision can come to life through interdisciplinary teams in the urban design realm. Jonathan, who is also a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, will use a case study of recent and ongoing project work in practice to explore and discuss these themes.

This one day event will include a range of experts from across the built environment sector covering a wide portfolio of topics in two sessions: Opportunities & Challenges in Practice, and Informing Teaching & Research.
