Fletcher Priest shortlisted for the Architect of the Year Awards 2017

We are delighted to be a finalist in two categories of BD’s Architect of the Year Awards 2017: Office Architect of the Year and Masterplanning and Public Realm Architect of the Year. The nominations are recognition of a busy and successful year for the practice, with a range of projects in design, planning and nearing completion.

During 2016 our office development New Ludgate for Land Securities won several awards, including the honour of being City of London Building of the Year. Our innovative reinvention of the White Chapel Building for Derwent London became one of the biggest success stories in the London property sector by reinventing an unloved 1980s office; and the Brunel Building started onsite, and is set to transform Paddington.

Under the direction of Jonathan Kendall, our urban design team goes from strength to strength and is working on projects at a range of scales on key sites around the UK, designing urban districts and public spaces. The work is characterised by a commitment to mixing uses, working with communities, and introducing public amenity.

The 14th Architect of the Year Awards will be announced at London’s ExCel Centre on Wednesday 8 March.
