London Stone moves to Museum of London

London Stone is moving from its home at 111 Cannon Street to the Museum of London, where it will be on temporary loan. The stone, which is surrounded by mystery, will be displayed in its new temporary lodgings in the popular, War, Plague and Fire Gallery whilst we redevelop 111 Cannon Street. Our proposed mixed use scheme for London & Oriental exploits the unique nature of the site with frontages on three historic City streets and will create a much improved setting for London Stone when it is returned to its historic home.

As part of the planning process we consulted a number of interested parties and working with MOLA established the method for it removal and temporary relocation to the Museum of London.
