Design Council CABE has announced the recruitment of 150 national Built Environment Experts (BEEs), and we are delighted to announce that Jonathan Kendall, Partner and Director of Urban Design, is one of them. Jonathan becomes part of a network of design experts drawn from a range of professions and disciplines, the largest and most skilled group of its kind in the country. The BEEs will work closely with Design Council CABE to champion design in the built environment. Together they will provide independent expert advice and support to promote well designed buildings, spaces and places that improve the public realm.
The new BEEs also include: Angela Brady OBE, award winning landscape architect Martha Schwartz and Chair of the RIBA Housing Advisory Group, Andy Von Bradsky.
Clare Devine, Director of Design Council CABE, said:
“We have been laying the foundations for our future, building on what we do best, refining and developing new services, expanding our skills set and building relationships to deliver our programmes. To support this, we have expanded our BEE network both in its geographical spread and range of disciplines and skills.”
