Nomura’s roof garden becomes part of BBC TV’s ‘Secret History of British Gardens’

Monty Don’s new 4 part BBC2 series explores the fascinating history and evolution of the British garden from the 17C through to the modern day. Catch the episode featuring Nomura’s garden at 9pm Sunday 6th December or on i Player. The gardens include an allotment run by staff that supplies the restaurant, and the rooftops house bee hives among the satellite dishes and PV panels that supply honey to the cafe

The two roof gardens, 25,000 sq ft in total, enjoy spectacular Thames panoramas. See One Angel Lane on this website for more project details, and the roof gardens are usually open to the public as part of the annual Open House Weekend.
